Jeremy Garson

Since training in a small suburban law firm and quickly becoming a partner in a prestigious Lincoln’s Inn Fields practice, Jeremy has gone on to run his own sole practice and partnered with others in larger firms. This varied experience has enabled Jeremy to become a seasoned expert in everything his clients require when seeking his advice. Rise Legal sees him, once again, steering his own ship to that end.

Outside work Jeremy enjoys spending time with his wife (as fifty-plus hours a week in the office with her is not enough…) and family, eating, drinking and embarrassing his children at every available opportunity.

Sharon Garson

Sharon started her career not in the legal profession but at ABC News before spending many years at Reuters, a local delicatessen and then commencing her informal legal training with Jeremy where she has spent the last twenty-plus years. She has helped him in all aspects of the law in which he practises, has managed his previous practice and is now an experienced Paralegal who has infinite patience in helping their clients through the ups and downs of any legal transaction.

Outside work, Sharon does not need to spend any additional time with her husband (as fifty-plus hours a week is more than enough…..) but does enjoy time with the rest of their family and taking every opportunity to get fresh air and making the most of the local Hertfordshire countryside.

Alli Lipman

Alli spent most of the last 20 years in the NHS, as a Practice Manager for a large GP Practice.

At the surgery she had to be efficient and organised, but also had to care about people.

She absolutely loved managing the large team of GPs, nurses and staff and thrived on building a strong, positive team who enjoyed coming to work.  This also included the well-being and care of the patients, making sure, they were pleased with the service offered.

Alli is now using the skills that she learnt in the GP world at Rise Legal. She likes to come up with solutions, ease workload for others and help someone achieve their goals. She has a very positive attitude that helps with everyday life and has fast become a great asset to the team.

Her spare time is spent with my family and friends, walking her dog and trying to be as present as possible to enjoy whatever is going on around me.

Donna Obstfeld

Donna’s extensive HR expertise has been achieved over 30 years in HR and Management through a mixture of in-house, interim and consultancy roles. Past employers include Dixons Stores Group, TK Maxx, Metronet SSL, Securicor, West Herts College and Hewitt Associates (AON).

Donna founded her HR Practice, DOHR, in 2007. She and her team have supported over 650 clients on an ad hoc, retained or outsourced basis.

Donna graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a joint honours degree in Business and Psychology. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), an author and speaker. Donna is a qualified Mediator, Mental Health First Aider and a certified Business Coach.

HR Advisor

Rose Kiran

Rose is an experienced HR Adviser with over 20 years’ experience in Human Resources. Rose has experience in a range of sectors where she has worked within internal HR departments. She has worked in the security, care (private & charity), housing, education and financial services. Past employers include; Enra Specialist Finance Ltd, Hendon School, Barnet Homes, Jewish Care, CareTech Community Services, Chubb Security and BritSec / In-Depth Security.

 Rose is Senior HR Advisor at DOHR. She has expert knowledge and experience of providing a full range of HR solutions, including; employee relations, change management, coaching managers, project management, implementing HR systems, recruitment & selection, policy and contract reviews and payroll.

Rose graduated from London South Bank University with a Psychology (major) & English Studies (minor) degree.  She is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD) and an accredited workplace mediator.
